Guitar Ensemble
The guitar is a musical instrument, used in a wide variety of musical styles. It is also widely known as a solo classical instrument. There are also various types of guitars which students will learn to play. In Guitar Ensemble, we learn to play both classical and contemporary music using the various types of guitars. In order to do that, students are taught how to read music as well as the necessary guitar skills to create beautiful music together – this will instil values of teamwork and discipline. The intricate music is difficult to play, but students are inculcated with the perseverance to rise up to the challenge, pushing themselves to develop musically with discipline and determination. In 2013 and 2015, the Guitar Ensemble achieved the Certificate of Distinction and Certificate of Accomplishment respectively. We look forward to achieving greater success over the years.

We appeal to those who love the soothing sound of music to come join our family and delve into the delicate music of a Guitar Ensemble. Do come down on Mondays and Tuesdays, 3-6 pm, when we have our practices at the Music Room to find out more about us.
